Pelecanus onocrotalus[1] est avis aquatica familiae Pelecanidarum. Quae in Europa, Asia, et Africa habitat, ubi in paludinibus et lacubusque humilibus nascitur. Piscibus plerumqe vescitur. Haec avis est typus generis Pelecanorum (Linnaeus, 1758).
