Myristica fragrans

Myristica fragrans (binomen a Martino Houttuyn anno 1774 statutum) est species arborum fructiferarum familiae Myristicacearum in insulis Bandanis nativa, alibi recentius culta propter cortices et nucleos fructuum aromaticos per omnem terrarum orbem venundatos. Cortex Latinitate communi macis, nucleus nux moschata (aliter "nux muscata" vel "nux myristica") appellari solet.
