Mycobacterium bovis est bacterium aerobium et causa? tuberculosis in bobus (tuberculosis bovinae appellatae). Cognatum Mycobacterii tuberculosis, bacterii quod tuberculosin in hominibus efficit, M. bovis potest saepem specierum transilire (Anglice: jump the species barrier) et tuberculosin in hominibus efficere.[1]
