Montiaceae sunt familia angiospermarum cui sunt quattuordecim genera et 230 fere species descriptae,[3] inter quas plantae herbaceae et frutices. Familiae est distributio cosmopolita. Familia, nuper in systemate APG III erecta, certas Caryophyllales olim in Portulacaceis perscriptas comprehendit.[2]
