Montia perfoliata, nunc Claytonia perfoliata, species lactuca fossorum per ludibrium appellata, per Occidentem Montanum Americae Septentrionalis distribuitur, in solis umidis, ubi regiones nuper perturbatas praeponit. Species sic appellatur quia pro fossorum acetariis recentibus erat in concursu aurei in California anno 1849.[1]
