Moneta Britanniarum regni
Moneta Magnae Britanniae in Anglia et Scotia, sub eodem regno coniunctis, post annum 1707 circuibat; moneta Britanniarum regni in magna Britannia necnon Hibernia aliisque territoriis variis regno Britanniarum subiectis ab anno 1816 circuit.
Per hoc aevum pecuniaria denominatio principalis Britannica fuit libra sterlingorum (sic appellata). Quae usque in annum 1968 in 20 solidos (shillings) divisa est iterumque in 240 denarios (pence), sed post hunc annum in 100 "denarios novos" (new pennies) tantum.
