Crassostrea vel Magallana hongkongensis[1] est species conchyliorum familiae Ostreidarum. In Serica meridiana iam septem saecula culta est. Una est duarum specierum hodie recognitarum (altera est Magallana ariakensis) quae olim sub nominibus Ostrea vel Crassostrea rivularis confundebantur.
