In Universitate Californiensi Berkeleiensi litteras Latinas ab anno 1898 usque ad mortem docebat. Trinummum Plauti et Tusculanarum disputationum partes edidit. Opera grammatica varia, necnon Ad Alpes, mythistoriam de vita Romana, scaenasque dramaticas Latinas composuit.
