Exarchatus Africae
Exarchatus Africae fuit divisio administrativa Imperii Byzantini. Fuit creatus a Mauricio in 580 et supervixit usque ad expugnationem Barbariae a Musulmanis in saeculo VI.
In bello vandalico Barbaria recuperata est a Belisario et Iustinianus I creavit praefecturam praetorio Africae. Annum 560 expeditio Romana recuperavit partem Hispaniae, et nova provincia creata est in Hispania[1].
