Latitudo alarum est 50–55 mm in maribus et 48–56 mm in feminis. Adulti totum per annum in regionibus calidioribus, praecipue extrema aestate et autumno, volare solent.[2]
Larvae Cappari tomentosa vescuntur.[2]
