Hic disputatum meum est.
Hi, Re : Please stop inventing and implementing rules without discussion. The current rule (as stated in another admin's Translator's Guide) is to Latinize the first name when possible and leave the surname as is (unless the person themself Latinized it).
As for the the process of gaining adminship, it might behoove better to work on good citizenship first. —Myces Tiberinus 03:55, 18 Decembris 2005 (UTC)
- I believe that middle names act like first names, and that the behaviour of unlatinizable names is currently undefined. The admin request page is Project:Petitio magistratus. —Myces Tiberinus 04:50, 18 Decembris 2005 (UTC)
W. B. tibi salutem dicit Noli, quaesumus, nomina articulorum iamiam exstantium mutare. Vale. 13. Kal. Ian. 2005
- Hi Revolution, I'm not so good at Latin myself, but I think it just says hello, feel free to create articles and fix bad ones. It's a welcome message. Hope that helps. Nicolaus 01:01, 21 Decembris 2005 (UTC)
- Afraid not. It says: "Greetings from W.B. Please do not change the names of already existing articles. As others have also written already, first names are happily Latinized, especially because it facilitates their use: the cases are better indicated in this way. But if you wish to make a list of modern names with links to the Latinized ones, then everyone should be grateful to you. Goodbye." --Iustinus 07:09, 21 Decembris 2005 (UTC)

Commenta, amabo, quod scripsi in disputatione de pagina 'Chirgisia' de orthographia Latina huius nominis. ( Please comment on what I have written on the talk page of the article 'Chirgisia' concerning the Latin spelling of that name.) --Fabullus 13:04, 14 Augusti 2007 (UTC)
