Dies Indigenarum
Dies Indigenarum est dies festus in variis locis in Civitatibus Foederatis celebratus. Celebratio, contra Diem Columbi excogitata, propositum habet culturae Indorum Americanorum favere, historiamque Americanorum Nativorum in Civitatibus Foederatis commemorare. Celebratio Berkeleiae Californiae orta est, Internationali Foederis Indianorum Concilio suadente, et Denverii Colorati, Diem Columbi contra dicens, qui inter feria foederalia in Civitatibus Foederatis perscribitur, sed festum civicum in omni civitate non observatur.[1] Dies Indigenarum secundo die Lunae Octobris usitate habetur, cum foederali Diei Columbi observantia congruens.[2]
