Carissa carandas
Carissa carandas (binomen a Carolo Linnaeo anno 1767 statutum) est species arborum fructiferarum in India occidentali et Taprobane sponte crescens. Ibi fructus edules aromatici, Latinitate communi carandas appellati, in arte culinaria adhibentur. Arbores etiam in Asia autro-orientali et Serica meridiana coluntur.
