Bascom Lamar Lunsford
Bascom Lamar Lunsford (Mars Hill Carolinae Septentrionalis die 21 Martii 1882; mortuus 4 Septembris 1973[1]) fuit causidicus, folklorista, et actor musicae traditionalis (vulgaris et rusticae) ex Carolina Septentrionali occidentali ortus. Saepe appellabatur Fidicen Appalachianorum,[2] nomine per ludibrium dato.
Se cum rationibus Factionis Democraticae consociare solebat. Petitionem Zebulon Weaver legati congressionalis Carolinae Septentrionalis administravit. Ab anno 1931 ad 1934, fuit clericus legens Domus Repraesentantium Carolinae Septentrionalis. Carolus Seeger eum annis 1930 conduxit ad cantores in "Skyline Farms" adiuvandos, quod pars fuit Negotii Novi. Lunsford ad Aedes Albas a Praeside Roosevelt anno 1939 vocatus est, ut pro Georgio Rege VI caneret.[3]
