Aristobulus Cassandrensis
Aristobulus Aristobuli filius Cassandrensis (vel "Cassandreus"; Graece Ἀριστόβουλος ὁ Κασανδρεύς),[1] urbis novae Cassandreae incola, origine fortasse Phocius,[2] particeps fuit expeditionis Alexandri Macedonis, de qua senex post Alexandri mortem commentaria scripsit.[3] Ingeniarius vel architectus, iussu Alexandri ipsius Aristobulus sepulchrum Cyri regis Persarum, Pasargadis repertum et nuper a raptoribus desecratum, descripsit restaurarique curavit. Usque in annum aetatis nonagesimum vixit.[4]
