Aqua planetae Martis, in superficie Martiana sub forma liquida aevo Noachio exstans, hodie partim in lacu subterraneo, partim in glacie regionum polarium subsistit.
Aquae aevi Noachii pars in regione Eridania stetisse, pars per valles Marineris in vastitatem Borealem defluisse censentur.
