Alfredus Eduardus Housman

Alfredus Eduardus Housman (natus in vico Fockbury, propior Bremesgrave, die 26 Martii 1859; Cantabrigiae mortuus die 30 Aprilis 1936) fuit sermonum antiquorum philologus et poeta Anglicus^[1]. Professor rerum classicarum meruit apud Collegium Universitatis Londiniensis, deinde apud Cantabrigienses. Editiones "editorum in usum" produxit operum Iuvenalis, Manilii et Lucani.
