Triticum turgidum ssp. dicoccoides (nomen ab Alberto Thellung anno 1918 statutum) est subspecies silvestris Tritici turgidi, aut apud alios species separata, nomine Triticum dicoccoides (Körnicke ex Asch. & Graebn.) G.Schweinfurth, quod nomen a Georgio Augusto Schweinfurth anno 1908 statutum est. Cultivatur subspecies cognata T. turgidum ssp. dicoccon (Latinitate classica "far").
