Srinivasan Chandrasekaran (natus Tamil Nadu in India meridiana die 15 Novembris 1945) est chemicus organicus et organometallicus Indicus, professor, olim praeses ordinis chemiae organicae divisionisque scientiarum chemicarum, et quondam decanus ordinis scientiae in Instituto Scientiae Indico. Investigationibus rationum reactionum organicarum synthesisque organicae innotuit.[1] Operam postdoctoralem in Civitatibus Foederatis apud Universitatem Harvardianam in laboratorio Eliadis Iacobi Corey annis ab 1973 ad 1975 et iterum ab 1976 ad 1977 dedit. Socius Academiae Scientiae Nationalis Indicae,[2] Academiae Scientiarum Mundi,[3] et Academiae Scientiarum Indicae est.[4] Consilium Investigationis Scientificae et Industrialis, prima rectionis Indicae agentura pro investigatione scientifica, Praemium Scientiae et Technologiae Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar, unum ex praestantissimis scientiae praemiis Indicis, pro rebus quas ille scientiis chemicis contribuit, anno 1989 ei concessit.[5]
