It would seem strange to put alumni & professors of Harvard College, MIT, and Leslie University in the same category just because those universities are based in the same city. (It wouldn't seem strange if you ''also'' had a separate category for each university.) Likewise, you're surely not going to be combining American University, Catholic University of America, Gallaudet University, Georgetown, The George Washington University, Howard University, Southeastern University, Strayer University, Trinity College, and the University of the District of Columbia, all of which are based in Washington, DC, and each of which has a unique "personality" (unless you ''also'' have a separate category for each of them).
