Dear 174.21.74.99, you changed ''emergentis'' to ''emergentes,'' saying "small grammatical correction." Regarding adjectives of one ending, Gildersleeve (#83) notes: "In the Nom. and Acc. Pl. . . . in the case of participles '''īs''' is very common [instead of '''ēs'''], and is the rule in VERGIL and HORACE." (Gildersleeve #83). In Allen & Greenough (#117), '''ēs''' is preferred for the nominative, while '''īs''' is preferred for the accusative, and not just in poetry. In the singular, '''ī,''' not '''e''', is preferred.
