I appreciate your efforts but don't understand. It did look bad on my browser at all, I didn't see the white space you are referring to. Also, you can't click on the links in the legend this way and the information isn't anywhere else on Vicipaedia. :Fix the background of the thumb? I'm using the Opera browser and I see white space around thumb images above coloured backgrounds. A non-quadratic coat of arms does generally not look so good within a thumb frame. The main page on e.g. English wikipedia, does not use thumb frames around images. :: Ssolbergj: I am using Opera as well and I can see the ugly white border you are referring to. I tried to implement a quick and dirty fix for the main page. In a few hours (after the relevant files will have expired from the cache) we can see whether this has worked or not. :::I went to a different computer and found that I could see the white border using firefox. So my not seeing the border was more of an issue with some settings on my laptop screen somehow. After updating the cache on that computer, the border disappeared however, which means that whatever UV did at least fixed the problem in firefox. Please, don't put up invented coats of arms on the European Union page.
