Mangle
Mangle (s. n., gen. manglis)[1][2] sive mangrovia[3] (s. f., gen. mangroviae) est arborearum aut fruticalium specierum congeries quae adaptationes possident cum quibus in solis inundatis subiectis aquae salsae intrusionibus considere possunt. Hae species ad dissimiles familias pertinere possunt. Inter adaptationes quae mangroviae possident sunt:
- Magnarum salinitatis quantitatum tolerantia,
- Aeriae radices arborem in mollibus solis statuentes,
- Fluctuantia semina (plantulae)
- Structurae propriae quae ut oxygenium intret et dioxydum carbonis exeat permittunt (lenticellae et pneumatophora).
