Litterae Bulgaricae comprehendunt opera Bulgarice inde ab ortu linguae litterariae usque adhuc scripta.
Principium
recenserePostquam alphabetum Glagoliticum et deinde alphabetum Cyrillicum saeculo IX in Bulgariam introducta sunt, varii scriptores opera artificiosa scribere coeperunt, praecipue libros Graecos convertentes, sed etiam libros novos componentes. Regnum Simeonis (889—927) aliquando "aetas aurea cultús Bulgarici" appellatur.
