Humbertium covidum est parvum platyhelminthes a 20 ad 30 millimetra longum. Facies dorsalis omnino est nigra metallica, lineis et ornamentis carens. Lamina capitalis est reniformis. Superficies ventralis est cana pallida et infuscata.[1]

Apud auctores speciei legimus: "Covidum, nomen specificum, ad multas pandemiae COVID-19 per orbem terrarum victimas salutandas electum est; praeterea, magna huius investigationis pars temporibus separationis per pestilentiam scripta est."[3][1]
