Deutsch: Sogenannter Alexandersarkophag

Es handelt sich hierbei nicht um den Sarkophag Alexanders des Großen. Der Name rührt daher, dass auf dem Sarkophag Zahlreiche Schlacht- und Jadgszenen mit Alexander dem Großen dargestellt sind.

1887 in Sidon gefunden; auf der einen Langseite eine Jagd, auf der anderen ist die Schlacht bei Issos dargestellt.
