To help you if you're making brief pages about comedians: articles about a single comedian/actor will be different, and categorised differently, from articles about groups/duos. For groups, follow the pattern of Smosh. For individuals, follow the pattern of Iacobus Varney, but by all means add more information, e.g. exact date and place of birth/death. For individuals who are still living, follow the pattern of Blake Clark, and again add more information if you can.

We change forenames to a Latin form if there is one (thus Jim > Iacobus) but don't worry about this -- no need to guess at Latin equivalents. Others can make that change for you. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 10:47, 26 Aprilis 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you don't follow this advice your pages will be nonsense. Nonsense doesn't belong in an encyclopedia and will be deleted. Inappropriate redirects are also likely to be deleted. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 17:22, 28 Aprilis 2012 (UTC)Reply

fuit recensere

Dear Friend fuit means was, therefore if you are speaking of a living person you have to write "est histrio" not "fuit histrio"--46.14.254.242 15:12, 28 Septembris 2012 (UTC)Reply

die/anno, natus/nata recensere

"die" means "on the day", e. g. "die 4 Octobris 2012". If you just give the year, you cannot use "die" but you can use "anno", "in the year", e. g. "anno 2012".

"natus" is the male form and "nata" is the female form. So a boy born today would be "natus die 4 Octobris 2012" or "natus anno 2012", and a girl born today would be "nata die 4 Octobris 2012" or "nata anno 2012". Greetings, --UV (disputatio) 20:45, 4 Octobris 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please take more care recensere

About Kevin McDonald, you said he was born in Kids in the Hall, Quebec, and your categories made him a US actor from Michigan. Only Quebec is right: the rest is nonsense. If you don't read through what you write and correct it, there is a risk your address will be blocked because mistakes like this make Vicipaedia worse, not better.
