Iacobe, tibi parvum dissentio...latinitas huius rei magis sit delenda, quam corrigenda. Vide meas sententias apud Tabernam.--Ioshus (disp) 01:15, 11 Octobris 2006 (UTC)Reply

In addition to all the obvious problems, there are Latin translations of Disney comic books, meaning that there's already Latin attestations for some of this stuff. Including the very word "Disney", which is Latinized on the cover (but I don't recall the form offhand). --Iustinus 06:35, 3 Februarii 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't think the word Disney was Latinized, and it appears there were only 6 Disney Latin comics. Mickey Mouse is translated: "Michaël Musculus" Vide: Disney Lingua Latina et Inducks.org. - Secundus Zephyrus 04:48, 9 Februarii 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm still puzzled/amused by this studius, -i, which doesn't appear in my classical dictionaries. It's presumably a recent coinage, from English studio (which of course comes through Italian from Latin studium, -i). IacobusAmor 14:35, 9 Februarii 2007 (UTC)Reply

De nomine, fortasse iuvare possim. Amans uti lingua latina in contextis hodiernis, creavi vocabulum declinationis secundae “Disneius.” Non certum scio quantum probata esset, sed id offero consultationi.

About the name, maybe I can help. Being one who loves using Latin in modern contexts, I've coined the second-declension form "Disneius." I'm not sure how acceptable that would be, but I'm offering it for consideration.

VP:TNP. Better if you can find that in use elsewhere (try googling) than offering it as a personal coinage. —Mucius Tever 13:05, 7 Aprilis 2007 (UTC)Reply

Aliae Vicipaediae titulum Anglicum "(The) Walt Disney Company" conservare videntur. Quin etiam nos? Si titulum Latinum malumus, "Societas Walt Disney" rectius sonat. Neander (disputatio) 16:19, 15 Septembris 2012 (UTC)Reply

Credo modum optimum transferendi nominem "Walter" in linguam latinam esse uti linguis romanicis hodiernis. Habemus has translationes: Gualtiero (lingua italica), Gualterio (lingua hispanica), Gautier (lingua gallica), et Gualter (lingua lusitanica). "Gualterus" fortasse sit translatio optima. Quid creditis?

I suppose this refers to 'The Ant Bully' which is not a Disney movie, but Warner Bros, so it should be removed from the list. 80.56.63.35 16:03, 15 Septembris 2012 (UTC)Reply

In latina, Mickey Mouse "Michael Mus" et non "Michael Musculus" est. In latina, "characteristicas" dicantur "notas proprias"
