AppellatioPronuntiatus

In Classical texts the word seems to be appellatio. This is what is used on Victionarium. --Iustinus 07:25, 22 Martii 2008 (UTC)Reply

There is also pronuntiatus and accentus, but the technical term seems to have been Appellatio or Appellatio litterarum.--Ceylon 10:08, 20 Aprilis 2008 (UTC)Reply
Etiam Pronuntiatio vi phonetica valet, e.g. Fortunatus, Gramm. 6.279.11 quae [sc. l m n r] ... in pronuntiatione ... liquescant. Etiam apud alios grammaticos. --Neander 20:36, 20 Aprilis 2008 (UTC)Reply
The problem with appellatio, maybe, is that it has a range of meanings. For that reason it might be better to fix on pronuntiatio, even if not so well attsted, because it can't mean anything else. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 07:12, 21 Aprilis 2008 (UTC)Reply
Subsequently we have settled on using pronuntiatus.See eg. pronuntiatus Latinus--Rafaelgarcia 21:35, 25 Iulii 2009 (UTC)Reply
