I removed this -- ""refried beans" = beans well fried, not twice fried" -- because I don't know whether it's agreeing or disagreeing with something, and whether the textor is reacting to the Latin, or to some underlying English original, or neither. Having looked at the English article, I guess this was a meditation on the name and nature of refried beans. Well, better have it out in the open! I'm not sure if my suggested Latin name will suit us ("phaseoli bis cocti", see article), but whoever creates that page can decide. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 19:11, 5 Decembris 2020 (UTC)
