Previous recensio said he was born "a.d.IX.Id.Oct."—but that's an impossible date, as the day before VIII Id. Oct. is not IX Id. Oct., but the nones; and it's the wrong date anyway, because the nones of October are the seventh, but (according to Wikipedia) Lennon was born on the ninth! (So the right date in the Roman calendar is VII Id. Oct.) A clear example of why INEXPERT LATINISTS SHOULD NOT USE ROMAN NUMERALS & ROMAN DATES? IacobusAmor 17:31, 1 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)
