Disputatio:Ex culo in os

Latest comment: abhinc 1 annum by IacobusAmor in topic Contribuenda?

This is not true. Analingus is when you lick someones ass directly. "Ass to mouth" is when you do someone up the ass and put your cock into their mouth, or being fucked and then sucking the cock immediately after it has been up the ass with no condom. I know; I have experience with such matters.

Your experience is not directly relevant to editing the article. We work from reliable sources. Sources are needed to verify that the subject is notable, that it is correctly named in Latin, that it is accurately defined, and that the subject is sufficiently notable to justify an article. You can help by improving it in these directions, and by adding sources. Online sources are preferable because other users can easily verify them. You wrote above "This is not true". I thought you were disagreeing with the article -- I'm just a simple guy, so how would I know? -- but it strikes me that maybe you were disagreeing with Iacobus's "Delenda". Iacobus was hasty, I think, in deleting the text before discussion [no criticism intended, I have been known to do similar things!] so I've restored it for the moment. Does anyone want to comment? What are the titles of the articles on the same practice in the bigger wikis? IacobusAmor (disputatio) 14:08, 28 Septembris 2018 (UTC)Reply
Good question. I've made the link. "en:Ass to mouth" is the English title. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 14:31, 28 Septembris 2018 (UTC)Reply
OK; then we don't need to privilege an English gloss over glosses in the other languages. Also: the illustration features licking (in addition to anal penetration) but doesn't fully show the actions. Does the wiki family have an apter one? IacobusAmor (disputatio) 15:44, 28 Septembris 2018 (UTC)Reply
Lusitanica duobus imaginibus utitur. Lusitanica, Russica et Polonica casus recte ponunt: non «nom. ad acc.» (sensus abest), sed «a culo in os» (aliae multae verba Anglica simpliciter servant). Demetrius Talpa (disputatio) 17:44, 28 Septembris 2018 (UTC)Reply
Recte dicis, mi Demetri. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 19:00, 28 Septembris 2018 (UTC)Reply
The expression "ass to mouth" has quite obviously arisen as a technical term of international (and hence Anglophone) porn industry. That's why quite a few other wiki lnguages lack an official term of their own and use the English expression as a "Kulturwort". In my opinion, we ought to do the same. ¶ We already have the article on anilingus which clearly depicts a different practice. ¶ The picture is too garbled for it to be of any use in describing this interesting drill. Contribuenda cum "Anilingus"? Re vera? "Actus sexualis qua penis . . . in ore inseritur et fellatur" atque "actus sexualis . . . qua . . . lingua stimulat alterius anum" sunt eadem res? Apud Neandrum supra legimus: "The article on anilingus . . . clearly depicts a different practice." IacobusAmor (disputatio) 11:17, 25 Iunii 2023 (UTC)Reply

Oh, OK, I didn't read the discussion all through again. Mea culpa. I'll restore the article and remove the "contribuenda". I don't like the title, though, and I doubt if Cicero would understand it. As Demetrius points out above, it's a mistranslation. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 17:27, 25 Iunii 2023 (UTC)Reply
As Demetrius points out, the ablative is expected, and Grufo has made an appropriate adjustment in the lemma. IacobusAmor (disputatio) 18:01, 25 Iunii 2023 (UTC)Reply
