De: "as we say 'numerus complexus,' we should have 'analysis complexa'":—For English 'complex', both Cassell's (1968) and Traupman (2007) tell us to use Latin multiplex (ad verbum 'having many folds', 'manifold'), but of course if Latin-writing mathematicians have attested complexus, that might be good enough for Vicipaedia!
