Murcielagus, needless to say, is not a Latin word. Vir Vespertilio isn't great either, because Vespertilio isn't an adjective (it could be an appositive, but then it seems to indicate that this man in a bat in a much more literal sense. what do you think about: "Vir Microchiropterae"?? Sounds bad but it could work...?
