"Haly Abbas" is claimed to be a "Latinisation" in Commons, but I haven't really found it in any Latin texts, while there are quite some in Latin that refer to him as "Ali". "Haly Abbas" does pop up in a lot of other languages, though. Maybe someone will find some good Latin sources with the version "Haly Abbas" (in Liber Pantegni?), but otherwise, I'd rather use a Latin lemma of the kind we use for other Arabic/Persian people.
