Baculites ovatus
Baculites ovatus est species exstincta Cephalopodum Ammonitidarum. Species a Thoma Say Philadelphiano anno 1820 descripta est (nomine Baculites ovata) e fossili Cretaceo superiori in formatione Navesink(en) Novae Caesareae effosso,[1] ab amico Reuben Haines servato. Holotypus, Say et Haines mortuis, deperditum esse censebatur, sed in collectu Haines recentissime repertus est.
