Alpinia officinarum (binomen ab Henrico Fletcher Hance statutum) est planta generis Alpiniae et familiae Zingiberacearum atque fons aromatis galangae minoris (galanga maior e specie Alpinia galanga provenit): rhizoma enim flavonol nomine galangin continet. Species est in provinciis Sinicis Quantunia et Quansia necnon insula Hainania endemica.
