Academia Poetarum Americanorum
Academia Poetarum Americanorum est academia et societas non lucrativa nationalis in Civitate Novo Eboraco anno 1934 constituta et a sodalibus sustenta, quae poetis artique poeticae favet. Lectores poematum sustinet per res externas sicut National Poetry Month; situs interretialis proprius[1]; Poem-a-Day, series syndicata[2]; American Poets magazina[3]; lectiones et alii eventus litterarii; ac fontes poetici educatoribus K-12 dicati.[4] Praeterea, septem maioribus poesis praemiis favet, quorum primum fuit stipendium anno 1946 constitutum ad poetam iuvandum et rem gestam distinctam honorandam, et plus quam 200 praemia poetis scholasticis concessa.
Anno 1984, Robertus Penn Warren dixit "Ut sint poetae magnae, auditores magni esse debere, dixit Whitman, auribus plus minus neglegentibus educatorum Americanorum. Gloriae studiosa, ut spero, Academia hoc discrimen corrigere coepit."[5][6][7] Anno 1998, Dinitia Smith academiam descripsit "corpus venerabile in symbolice media poesis Americanae constitutione."[8][9] Anno 2013, Carolina Forché academiam descripsit "organizationem in nostra civitate maximi momenti quae poesin iuvat in vivendo in nostra cultura."[10][11]
