Synopsis historiarum (Scylitzes)

Synopsis historiarum (Graece Σύνοψις ἱστοριῶν) est opus Ioannis Scylitzae, saeculo XI scriptum. Ibi res gestas Byzantinas narrat ab anno 811 usque ad 1057. Opus postea ab anonymo quodam (sed, secundum nonnullos eruditos, ab eodem Scylitza) continuatum est usque ad annum 1081; textus hodie separatim sub titulo "Scylitzes continuatus" recognoscitur.

Textus in manuscripto bibliothecae nationalis Hispanicae servatur, miniaturis 577 ornatus, siglo Vitr. 26-2.
