The term "surjection", "surjective" seems to be a French-influenced term. In Hungary, mathematicians use also another name for the same concept: "szuperjekció", "szuperjektív" (< superiectio -nis f, superiectivus 3). (See [http://www.google.com/search?q=szuperjekt%C3%ADv+f%C3%BCggv%C3%A9ny&oq=szuperjekt%C3%ADv+f%C3%BCggv%C3%A9ny Google search] or the lead test of [[hu:Szürjekció|the corresponding Hungarian article]]). It seems to be a good base for the Latin term: "superiectio", and it seems to be etymologicaly and mathemathically correct.
