Sociobiology: The New Synthesis (1975; editio anniversaria 2000) est liber ab Eduardo O. Wilson prolata, biologo Americano qui myrmecologiam attendit, studium insectorum socialium, cuius disciplinae Wilson est peritissimus.[1][2] Qui liber disceptationem sociobiologicam coepit, unam e magnis controversiis scientificis in biologia saeculi vicensimi partemque maioris disceptationis de psychologia evolutionaria et moderna biologiae evolutionariae synthesi. Wilson sociobiology, vocabulum Anglicum, favebat, mechinationes evolutionarias explicari conans quae mores sociales sicut beneficentia, hostilitas, et nutritionem iuvenum sustinet. Sociobiologia locum magni momenti intra disceptationem de natura contra nutritionem habet, a principio ducta quod dicit prosperam organismi rem gestam gradum per quem eius gena in proxima aetate repraesentantur exhibere.[3]
