Pylos (Graece: Πύλος) fuit urbs Mycenaea in Messenia Graeciae. Situs fere 3 chm. a vico Chora occidentem et meridiem versus distat ad locum hodiernum Enclianum Superius (Επάνω Εγκλιανό). Archaeologi ibi ruinas effosserunt (et praecipue palatii q.d. Nestoris) tabulasque scripturae Linearis B reppererunt. Anno 2015 sepulcrum subterraneum reppererunt ubi anno circiter 1 500 a.C.n. cadaver "bellatoris gryphis" (cuius nomen nescitur) resque divitissimae depositae sunt.
E nomine urbis antiquae nuncupatur oppidum hodiernum, fere 17 chm. distans et ad oram maritimam iacens.
