Prodaná nevěsta
Prodaná nevěsta (Sponsa vendita) est melodrama comicum (opera comica) in tribus actibus a Friderico Smetana, musicographo Bohemico, inter annos 1863 et 1866 pro libello Caroli Sabina scriptum. Opus magni momenti in progressione musicae Bohemicae habetur. Primum ludus duorum actuum diverbio non canto die 30 Maii 1866 in Theatro Temporario (Prozatímní divadlo) Pragae actum est. Argumentum in vico rustico fit: verus amor duorum amantium consilia parentium ambitiosorum et improbi nuptiarum conciliatoris vincit, inventione repentina in fine fabulae facta. Drama primum non bene successit, sequentibus igitur annis quattuor emendatum et auctum est. Versio finalis, anno 1870 acta, populi favorem per orbem terrarum cito accepit.
