Petrus Garnsey, vulgo pleniter Peter David Arthur Garnsey, alumnus Scholae Grammaticae Canberranae et universitatis Sidneiensis, postea et universitatis Oxoniensis ubi receptus est scholarius Rhodensis, est professor emeritus rerum antiquarum apud Cantabrigienses et socius emeritus Collegii Iesu. Anno 2001 socius Academiae Humanitatum Australianae honoris causa electus est. De alimentis et nutritione Graecorum Romanorumque inquisivit.
