Multi initus et multi exitus sive MIMO (ex Anglico nomine multiple-input and multiple-output) est ratio augendae mensurae vinculi radiophonici, qua propagatio multivia fit utilis multitudine antennarum transmittentium et recipientium.[1], iam necessaria normis colloquii filis expertis, e.g. IEEE 802.11n (Wi-Fi 4), IEEE 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5), HSPA+ (3G), WiMAX, et LTE. Recentius usurpatur in colloquium per lineam vim ducentem ubi assunt fila tria secundum normam ITU G.hn et postulatum HomePlug AV2.[2][3]
Olim "MIMO" vocabulo indicabantur omnes usus multarum antennarum in transmittendo recipiendoque, in recenti autem usu attinet ad rationem unicam per unam canalem radiophonicam plurium signorum transmittendorum propagationis multiviae usu. Cum ipsa multitudo viarum sit digna cogitatu, gratia multiplexionis orthogonalis frequentiis divisis augeri potest mensura datorum. Ratio multorum inituum et multorum exituum penitus distat ab antennis sollertibus quae signorum singulorum actum aptant, ut in effictione radiorum et in diversitate antennarum.
