Howard Goldblatt (natus anno 1939 in urbe Long Beach Californiae), alumnus Collegii Civici Franciscopolitani et Universitatis Indianensis, fuit professor in eodem collegio Franciscopolitano (sed iam in universitatem converso) et ab anno 2002 usque ad 2011 professor linguae Sinensis apud Universitatem Dominae Nostrae a Lacu. Litteras Sinenses Anglice convertit et imprimis opera Mo Yan qui anno 2012 Praemio Nobeliano Litterarum laureatus est. Donatus Interpretationis Nationalis Howard Goldblatt anno 2000 decretus est pro versione sua libri Chu Tien-wen titulo 荒人手記, Anglice Notes of a Desolate Man.
