Gem saloon sive et oyster bar ("Aula gemmatis", "Cauponula ostrearia gemmatis") fuit caupona et thermopolium Novae Aureliae. Anno 1847 sub hoc nomine constitutum est, sed iam antea frequentatum esse dicitur. Ibi societas Pickwick(en) constituta est. "Proelium" sive rixa de gubernatione Ludovicianae die 10 Ianuarii 1872 apud cauponam Gem saloon gesta est.[1]
