Descriptio
English: The butterworts are a group of carnivorous plants comprising the genus Pinguicula. Members of this genus use sticky, glandular leaves to lure, trap, and digest insects in order to supplement the poor mineral nutrition they obtain from their environment.
Français : Grassette commune (Pinguicula vulgaris). La grassette est une plante carnivore de la famille des Lentibulariaceae. Elle capture des petits insectes dans ses feuilles gluantes ce qui lui permet de compenser la pauvreté des sols sur lesquels elle pousse.
