Français : Les armoiries de Cartigny, d’or à la croix de sable chargée de cinq coquilles d’argent sont les armes de François Bonivard, le dernier Prieur de saint-Victor et célèbre prisonnier de Chillon, né en 1493, mort en 1570. Les prieurs de Saint-Victor possédaient un château à Cartigny, construit au centre de leurs possessions féodales dans la Champagne.
