Ephedra intermedia (binomen a Carolo Antonio de Meyer ex opere Alexandri Gustavi de Schrenk anno 1846 statutum) est frutex generis Ephedrae in aridioribus Asiae mediae regionibus florens. Sucus huius speciei cognatarumque E. gerardianae et E. procerae ad soma vel haoma conficiendum olim receptum esse eruditi multi censent, aliis abnuentibus.
